I disagree, Sango has more experience, not to mention um, HELLO!! Does Naraku and his minions mean nothing to you? Besides, Kuwabara has always had Kurama and/or Yusuke to back him up. Not to mention he uses spirit energy. Sango uses brute force and wit to win and she had no backup with power until AFTER She fought Naraku once already. Sure she had her Tanjiya clan, but then again, Kuwabara has always had someone there to lead and back him up. Sango has been on her own before and hasn't been killed yet.

Kuwabara was a street fighter combined with about 4 years of spirit energy training. And a lot of the time in YYH, the boys take their opponents separately (b/c boys can be stupid like that). He doesn't use any weapons -- he relies solely on brute strength and spiritual energy. Sango relies on weapons. While that's not a bad thing, when it comes down to strength, she loses. Her dependencies on Hiraikotsu, InuYasha, Kagome, Miroku, & esp. Kirara render her weaker in *strength* when compared to Kuwabara simply because she wasn't trained for strength the way Kuwabara was. **The argument that spirit energy is not directly influenced by strength is wrong. Spirit energy & strength are usually directly proportional. There's evidence in the video games. & since spirit energy is something only found within the fighter, it cannot rightly be considered a "weapon". It's still up to Kuwabara's strength & training to keep up his spirit energy.** So in a way, Kuwabara has more self-reliance (when it comes down to strength, not willpower) than Sango. & no offense, but when it comes to being reasonable, look at these three shows: Dragonball Z, InuYasha, and Yu Yu Hakusho. Now sort them according to the strongest characters. A) DBZ (.....for so many reasons, lol) B) Yu Yu Hakusho C) InuYasha Why? DBZ's hardcore about fighting. I just can't say any more about DBZ . But why for Yu Yu Hakusho & InuYasha? Yusuke is just insanely strong after the resurrection thing (which was nostalgic of DBZ's Super Saiyans if ya ask me...). Also, YYH & DBZ are both very progressive with different "bosses" & antagonists. InuYasha can never accomplish his main goal: destroy Naraku. While this may be Rumiko's failing more than her characters' failings, all we can do is infer that the InuYasha characters are not as sufficient in accomplishing their missions. =/ One reason may be that they're just not as strong or they don't boost their strength. In the other two animes, YYH & DBZ, the characters frequently train.

CRAP! Thanks a'lot flamefoxrose you changed my mind! What if Sango won? Your welcome somebody! ^-^ glad ya see it my way. She's a female from the Fudal era and she fights demons, give the girl her props will ya! She's doing the best she can with no teacher. It can also be said that because Inuyasha is thrid on your list if Sango was a character of YYH, then she'd no doubt, hands down, be stronger than she is on Inuyasha. Because she isn't a YYH chara, you must compair her strength to those in Inuyasha, before compairing her to a different show. One last point, Sango has to carry around Hairaikotsu ALL the time, along with her bags for miles at a time. Where as Kuwabara doesn't carry weapons, especially something that heavy. Because Sango was trained for RANGED fighting and not HAND TO HAND it stands to reason that Sango isn't a hand to hand fighter like Kuwabara. It also stands to reason that because she never developed spirit energy there is no way to measure for 100% accurace her strength compaired to Kuwabara's.

Sango's relatively weak when compared to characters in InuYasha, though.... I thought that was something that could be inferred. Lol, if you have seen as much of the anime as I have, you would know that Kuwabara's usually left carrying people. xD But anywho... Let's look at one side of the argument: Sango doesn't have spirit energy. Kuwabara does. End of story. Strength is not measured in skills in weapons. Strength is measured in endurance, fatigue, & potency -- self-reliance, not weapon-reliance. Sorry, but Kuwabara just wins out in the strength argument. As for skills in weaponry, um, it's so obvious that Sango wins because that's what she was taught her whole life to do (as Kuwabara was taught his whole life to street fight &, later, fight more advanced).
