So, as much as I really hate to do it, I'm putting "Of Pride and Absolution" up for grabs. (Anyone unfamiliar with it, just take a look at my ff.net profile) I'll offer it here first, and if no one wants it...well, it'll probably just sit on the shelf forever. My apologies to those of you who've followed it, I just don't think my life is going to allow for it anymore. I've recently gotten divorced, been forced into two jobs, and I have a little boy to take care of. All of this I can handle, but as I've lost interest in the story, I don't see myself making time for it with my ever-hectic schedule. I'd be willing to stay on and beta and steer you through it, if anyone is willing. I had plenty of really cool ideas for it, but I no longer have the will to follow through with them on my own. I know, I suck.  So, any takers? Just let me know. Peace, all. |

Aww, I'm sorry you're having such a hard time, guyute. Unfortunately, because I have ACT/SAT and the P-SAT coming up (& then AP exams to study for), I won't have time. But for anyone who wants to continue it, I'm sure I can help from time to time. |

Really? I love that story so much and am saddened at what has happened...but I suppose there is not much to do. I would like to help myself but believe I would be unable to maintain the great level its already at. Honestly I'm sure it just wouldn't be the same without your writing style or you yourself typing it....I really hope that either someday you will begin to crave writing the story again and would continue it...if not then I would also like to mention that you did an excellent job doing it  |

Aww, thank you. I'm glad you've enjoyed it, even if I do suck at keeping it updated. As it stands right now, I'll update when the notion strikes, but I don't actively try to do anything with it, anymore. So, it'll probably end up with a few more chapters on down the road, there's just no telling when or if it will ever be complete. Thanks so much! Hey, feedback is what you deserve there. I'm glad to hear there will still at least be a couple more chapters....and to me it doesn't really matter if you don't update till next year, its just the thought that you still think about it and aren't 'completely' abandoning it! It is a great story too, and I am pretty sure a lot of people think that too....I honestly am not trying to be a suck up there, lol! Everyone else's stories are so good too, and I am so jealous of all of you... I do have a one-shot....er...not quite what you would call the best thing, lol! At ff.net I am known as CrazyOnDisplay....yeah thats me, lol! Once again glad to hear it Guyute |
