Sango probably is my favorite anime/manga charactor of all time. SHE ROX!!! Grammer mistakes are okay, I have a few typos too, and it's fun when you know you're making them on purpose; but my mother is a Grammer Police Cheif and she's left a good impression, so I apologize in advance if when I'll fix your mistakes.

(You know Sango should get more attention on the show. I mean, after all, she's got it the worst of all the charactors.)
True, but the show is called "Inuyasha" because it's about him and his adventures; though some could argue that Kagome gets the same, if not more, time on air as Inuyasha. This is also true and Sango is ment to be one of the charactors to HELP take down Naraku. Rumiko doesn't want the focus on Miroku, Sango, Shippo, or any of the charactors other than Inuyasha and Kagome. The moments of the other charactors are either fillers, or information for the future. Yes, without Sango some battles would have been lost; but on the other hand, without Inuyasha and Kagome there would be no show. It's how Rumiko wants to make her manga and hopfully her anime influnce. I never said I support some of her decisions. In fact, I'd much rather see that Sango was the main charactor and the others were here to help her get rid of Naraku. Why should she be leader? She does have it the worst, but she's also been minipulated more than once by Naraku and knows him better than the rest. She's also a DEMON EXTERMANATOR, meaning she knows demons too. She's got some of the best field experience, but it's not her show so she can't have more air time than what's giving. I'd love for Sango to have more time on screen, but it's not going to happen anytime soon.

Yes, I agree, Sango deserves more action.
The fact is, Rumiko is not an adept at developing personalities of characters. Such a skill requires genius, but still... Rumiko's not even close to being on the "excellent character development" list. I mean, let's be absurd for a moment and compare Rumiko to Shakespeare. Do you SEE the difference? In Hamlet, you can tell just how each character influences the Prince. But then you look at Rumiko's InuYasha characters and... hmmmmmm, how exactly does Sango's character affect InuYasha or Kagome? I really couldn't tell you. Maybe if the minor characters interacted more with the major characters, a conclusion could be reached. But with what we are given, we can only guess what certain relationships are. Good "creativists" recognize that realism requires multiple character developments and that the world is not one-person-centric after all. =|

Which is why some people prefer to develop one charactor before even attempting another. We could guess this is Rumiko's attemps at developing her skills. You have a few main charactors, many minor charactors and the main ones are developing some. Kagome and Inuyasha no longer hate eachother and you can see the effects of both Kagome and Kikyo affecting Inuyasha. However this doesn't condone her lack of skills, just shows she's making money on trying to learn to write better. At least, that's my theory.

Sometimes in character development, interaction to events & particularly people is significant. I don't think Rumiko's writing well at all; in fact, I think there are many fanfiction writers out there who could make Inuyasha a lot better. Rumiko's just doing the easy thing since it's popular. Not a lot of people like Sango...at least, there aren't as many Sango fans as there are Kagome fans. Ergo, Rumiko's going to make more money off of amping up Kagome-related episodes opposed to making more Sango-related episodes. It's just the cold, hard facts of life: that life is ruled by money. In the same way, Somebody, Hiei is a popular character. But the amazing thing is... ALL the characters have their share of the stage. Even Kuwabara has some of the limelight. I love Yu Yu Hakusho because it's more equal for the non-Yusuke characters (even Genkai, Koenma, and Botan have their share).

As do I, and it's great that YYH has a better writer than Inuyasha. Rumiko probably could make more money if she had more episodes on the minor charactors. Hell, if she had more Shesshomaru episodes she'd be raking in more money than if she had an Inuyasha episode. Why? Because Shesshomaru is badass, cold-hearted, and full demon. Not to mention in Inuyasha is put down alot by people because they don't like his attitude.

Inuyasha is put down by a lot of people because there are about 100+ episodes on fighting Naraku and having him run away...
