So, anynone keeping up with the manga knows that Sango's boomarang can now burn up Naraku's spider butt. So aside from now being a bug exterminater, what do you think? Is it about time she got a cool power, or do you think it ruins her images of being strong without the aid of some mystic power?

I kind of like it, sure, we know she's strong before, but now she fits in more. Why? Everyone but Sango had a power.
Shippo: Fox magic
Kirara: Flying, fire, transforming.
Inuyasha: claws,Hanyou abilites, tetsiga(sp?!)
Miroku: Sutras, wind tunnel, staff, Monk powers
Kagome: Miko powers, Seeing the shards, the hand light, well travel, kikiyo reincarnete.
and now Sango is closer. Before she fit in because she had something agaist Naraku, she could fight, and she had Kirara. But now she has a power like the others.
Although she could beat Naraku without it anyway, I say it's cool she has a power.

Ahh because, my dear, there's hardly any decent fanfiction in the world today. I'd much rather read Melville.  Besides, since I don't even read the manga or watch the anime anymore, I'll always only see Sango as the "Batman" type of character since that's all she ever was to me. Her "human-ness" is what bonds her to viewers -- the real-life people like you and me. No matter who you are, there's always the "only human" bond between Sango & the audience. If she, one of the less popular characters, lost that image, I'm willing to bet she would become even less popular. As such, I simply refuse to see her as otherwise. |

lol. That reminds me of something ... There's going to be a Dragonball movie. And there are rumors that when a sequel is made (IF a sequel is made), that Johnny Depp or Hugh Jackman may play Vegeta.
Johnny Depp is so versatile that he could play almost any character.
