Who does everyone like? I previously liked Obama ... but um now I'm kind of thinking "where the frick are the details to your plans?" He has great rhetorical skills -- oh, there's no doubt about that -- but where the hell are these outlines? HOW are we leaving Iraq? So then I educated myself with Ron Paul. Excellent choice, even if he's in the (now) infamous Republican party. Why him? Well ... how about you head on over to youtube and check out his debates? And by the way -- (and this you should know) -- Thomas Jefferson and the other Founding Fathers DID NOT support intervention and were NOT apart of the Republican party we know & *cough* adore. That party didn't come together until, like, the late 1800s. ( and the democrats back then are not the democrats we know now! EEHH). With that said, go watch those videos! Educate yo'selves! And tell me, who do you support? Let's have some debates!!

I'm bored and have no real intrest in political debates so I'll make this place a little more intresting. That way I won't fall asleep.
How are we leaving Iraq: by an air taxi from the year 2343
Who do I support: Neither. I'm undecided and too young to vote anyway.
You know what I hate about Iowa? The damn political commercails! GAH!! They bug the SHIT outta me.

Obama is a celebrity, nothing more. That's not to say I think he's terrible, I just think he's too green for the job. Once he gets some more experience under his belt, perhaps in the Senate, he'd be better suited.
Clinton, I'll be honest, I like. I think she'd do a damn fine job. The only thing I don't really like about her is that she's a born politician, and quite frankly, you just can't trust one. That isn't to say she'd make a poor president. But people don't trust her, and what's worse, they don't like her without knowing why. She intimidates them because she's a woman of power (ridiculous though it may be), and the sad and bitter truth is that even if she wins the primaries, she will lose the overall election. Period. It terrifies me, because the country cannot afford another four years of the Republican party in control of the White House, especially with the list of total lunatics (can anyone say Huckabee?) they've got running.
And just going back to Obama for a moment...Let's be honest. What do you think the chances of a black man with an Islamic last name are of getting elected in this country? It's not right, but it is true.
The democrats are, quite frankly, screwed (along with the rest of us) unless Obama and Clinton knock each other out and Edwards edges in. Whom is the best choice of all of them, in my opinion.
Damn, I miss Al Gore in all this.

Ok as of tonight: screw Ron Paul. ^^' I didn't know enough about him ... and err ... now that I've heard all the bad things -- not that I believe everything I hear, it's just that *this* evidence is rather glaringly obvious--... yeah... No more of him. I don't like any of the Republicans! guyute: You're right about Obama & Clinton. I can't help but like Clinton yet dislike her at the same time. She's... tricky. Haha, I guess I'm the proof of what you said. Errrrrrmm hmmm... Something about Obama's nature & rhetoric is constantly attracting me (as well as the rest of the "young people"). Oh well. Not like it matters... A 17-yr-old can't vote

Nothing says you have to be a Democrat to like a Democratic candidate or dislike a Republican candidate. And nothing says you have to be a Democrat to think George Bush is a total fucking idiot. 50% of his own party is angry at how the country is being run, and more than that disapprove of the job he's done overall.
Me, I'm an Independent, but I vote for whomever I think will do the best job, no matter what party's ticket they run on. If more people did that, we'd be in better shape as a nation. As it is, we're headed for a total disaster, and no matter who gets elected, they've inherited a mess that's going to take the next 15 years or more to clean up. It's now just a question of who will put us on the right path to do so.

lol no, not quite. let's just call me, uhhhhhhh...I'm stealing guyute's words: an independent. or we can go with jefferson's words: "we are all republicans; we are all federalists..." I'm not loyal to either party; I go for the person who can get the job done the right way. It almost seems too ideal for the way things are now, though. Ok, so I think this site is interesting, but there's no way of knowing how reliable: check out Snopes.com for the facts & the myths.

Independent is an actual established political party. It's generally composed of liberalists that are not quite full blown Liberitarians (also and established party), but fairly close in core beliefs.
There are several legal political parties, but none have the power and recognition like the Republicans or the Democrats.

Having watched the Vegas debate~~ I really really really like Hillary now. Edwards...urm...not so much. -- Did everyone hear what Huckabee said about the Constitution? He wants to "biblify" it, basically. Separation of church & state, hellooooo. Speaking of the Republicans, who do you think will get the nomination?

A murderer? Care to back that claim? But... then Santa Claus would become corrupt and would steal all milk and cookies so that America could get out of debt...
