J.K.Rowling wont kill off Harry, she'll kill Moldywart. She's defined the good/bad guys, and it can go one of two ways, Harry lives, and kills Voldamort, while the back drop characters like Ron, Hermione, Nevil, etc... Battle it out with the death eaters and who ever else is recruited for the army. But I know some people with be pissed off if she kills certain people (hint hint). I've read some fanfiction where speculaters are writing their versions of the end, but personaly I have 'paired off' who I want to duke it out, but I still can't see her letting the good side win unscathed. I have a, you may say out of it, idea that Dumbledoor may not be dead, or not for long anyway.

I knoooow, the prophecy thing is going to destroy my hopes of his death, but anything can happen. =D Well the thing about Dumbledore is he can be associated with a phoenix. Heh. Re-birth. In the 5th book & movie, Luna talks to Harry about 'things having a way of coming back'. *ahem* I think that one applies to Sirius and/or Dumbledore. We'll see, eh? :EDIT post-reading: Re-birth associated with HARRY, obviously. v.V well, Dumbledore "led" him to the re-birth, if you think about it... Errrr, if we can even call Harry's death-but-not-really stunt a re-birth... And I'm not sure what Loony was trying to prove. Perhaps that Harry wouldn't really die. Perhaps it's more of an abstract thing -- love? Who knows... I doubt even Rowling has all the answers, and that's what makes books beautiful. But that ending was ugly.

I liked Snape in those books. But not the books themselves at all.

Yea, something definitely changed in 5, 6, &... well, 7 seemed nostalgic of the older books, but it was too late by that time ><

It would have been better to let the reader decide what would happen next.
